Colorful Denim

We first weave the denim in white. The colour is added only after sewing: we dye the trousers in the season's Pantone shade in oversized washing machines. Then, they are overlocked, stray threads are removed, and finally, the button with our Bergfex logo is pressed on. Jeans are a favourite for a reason – it doesn't hurt to stand out sometimes.

European standards

In Portugal, we work with modern dyeing facilities that operate their own wastewater treatment plants – so no dyes are released into the environment and the rivers don't reveal the trend colors of the next season. In many textile regions worldwide, this is still not a given. That is precisely why we produce according to European standards.

And because we are who we are, there's a touch of mountain flair: on the back pocket, discreet yet visible, our embroidery with a gondola and mountain. For all those who quietly show where they come from.
