Outdoor clothing should be worn with a clear conscience. That's why we produce in Portugal – one of the best locations for textile manufacturing in Europe. In a country with a high standard of living and, despite Fado, a wonderful zest for life.
By the way, we are not in Portugal because it would be cheaper than in Germany. Apart from a few tiny exceptions, there is no longer a textile industry in Germany. Nor is it because of the weather. We have experienced many winters in Portugal, which are rather stormy and wet.
Instead, we are here because Portugal offers textile infrastructure that is unparalleled in Europe: over 4,000 sewing factories in the north of the country, dye works with European wastewater standards, high-quality fabric manufacturers, and a dense network of suppliers and finishers. For us, there is no better place in Europe to produce clothing.

We are a family business - literally.
There are four of us at Adele Bergzauber: two adults who take care of the work, and two little ones who keep us on our toes.
When we visit our sewing facilities in Portugal, we always travel as a family. Usually, a small play area is already set up there - that's what happens when you've been working with the same partners on a family basis for years. Our meetings often take a little longer as a result, but everyone enjoys them more.
For us, being a family business also means that we stand behind our brand with our whole personality - and take full responsibility for our actions.
That's why we rely on functional fabrics from Europe, organic cotton for streetwear, and truly fair production in Europe.
We are not cheap - but high quality.
